Membership Information
and Procedures for Changes
The CMP Consortium was established with the objective of promoting the proper management of chemicals contained in products throughout the supply chain, as well as facilitating the smooth disclosure of related information, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the international competitiveness of industry.
Organizations wishing to join the CMP Consortium and that agree with its mission and activities are requested to submit an application in accordance with the membership procedures outlined below.
Membership Application Procedure
1.Preparation, Submission, and Review of Application Documents
Please download the membership application form and complete all required fields.
Attach documents that allow confirmation of your company profile, main products, and number of employees, and submit them by email to the Secretariat (cmp-office@jemai.or.jp).
The Secretariat will review the submitted documents and notify you of the results.
【Important Notice】
In order to confirm the appropriate membership category, please be sure to include documents that verify the number of employees (for example, a copy of your company website, part of a brochure, or other relevant materials).
2.Membership Review
The membership application will be reviewed by the Steering Committee of the CMP Consortium.
3.Admission to Membership
Upon approval by the Steering Committee of the CMP Consortium, the necessary information, including your member ID, along with the invoice (PDF), will be sent to you by email.
Membership Benefits
CMP Consortium members are entitled to the following members-only services:
- Participation in committee activities (*note) and access to related materials, as well as the opportunity to provide input and feedback
- Participation in the General Assembly
- Voting rights at the General Assembly (*note)
- Early notification of briefings, seminars, and related events, and discounts on participation fees for basic and practitioner training courses
- Discounts on the paid External List Category A usage service
- Free provision of information related to chemSHERPA system development
- Updates on the latest regulatory and standards developments concerning substances managed under chemSHERPA
- Immediate email notification to member contact points upon the release of chemSHERPA data entry support tools
- Priority access to help desk services
- Distribution of member newsletters (CMP Consortium information bulletin)
- Issuance of a membership certificate
- Listing of the member organization on the CMP Consortium website

Membership Categories
Membership Categories, Size, and Annual Fees

Note 1 : Membership is granted on a corporate basis. Subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and partner companies must apply for membership individually. Companies within a corporate group that have not applied individually are not considered members.
Annual Fees for the First Year (Pro-rated by Time of Admission)

Note 2 : For the fiscal year of initial admission, membership can be obtained by paying the fee corresponding to the time of admission shown above.

Payment of Membership Fees
The results of the membership review will be notified by email.
Upon approval of membership, the invoice, ID (membership number), and password will be sent by email.
Please remit the membership fee by bank transfer after confirming the invoice.

Changes to CMP Consortium Membership Registration
If there are any changes to the registered membership information, please submit a Notification of Change form.
Please submit the form as an email attachment.
